In an ever-evolving global film landscape, few voices are as dynamic, diverse, and inventive as that of Konstantin Georgiou. A multilingual screenwriter, filmmaker, and storytelling enthusiast, Georgiou represents a new era of international cinema — one where cultural fusion, language versatility, and emotional depth converge into compelling narratives.

Born in Bielefeld, Germany, Konstantin’s passion for film ignited at an early age. His initial academic pursuit led him to study German language and literature in his hometown, grounding him in the power and precision of the written word. This foundation soon evolved into a professional journey within the movie theater industry, culminating in the management of his own multiplex cinema — a role that allowed him to experience storytelling from the perspective of the audience and the business of distribution.

Driven by a desire to tell stories rather than just showcase them, Konstantin enrolled at the New York Film Academy. There, he sharpened his skills in writing, directing, and editing, shaping a filmmaker’s toolkit that would later serve him across continents and genres. His foray into the digital world further expanded his creative reach. As a digital marketing manager, specializing in social media and emerging technologies like virtual and augmented reality, Georgiou developed a forward-thinking approach to narrative delivery and audience engagement.
Georgiou’s screenwriting work is nothing short of eclectic. With an innate ability to blend languages and cultural nuances, he crafts scripts that resonate globally. His writing spans a wide array of genres — from mystery thrillers and horror to comedy and musical theatre — each infused with his signature wit and narrative intricacy.

His detective comedy Pendelton and the Theatre Corpses earned acclaim in 2017 by winning a German musical competition for its inventive book and lyrics. C.L.E.A.N., a gripping mystery thriller, has received multiple international accolades, including honors from the Dreamachine International Film Festival, New York Movie Awards, and Vegas Movie Awards.

His upcoming historical drama Save the Last Bullet, set during the Croatian-Serbian war and scheduled for production in fall 2025, exemplifies Georgiou’s linguistic and emotional range. The screenplay is written in five languages — English, German, French, Croatian, and Serbian — underscoring his commitment to authentic, multi-perspective storytelling.

His supernatural horror Unbound Evil premiered in Munich in 2022 and went on to win “Best Screenplay” at the Oniros Film Awards in New York. Currently, Konstantin is developing an English-language crime thriller and a Greek comedy series, further broadening his international repertoire.
Beyond the screen, Konstantin has also ventured into literature with the recent release of his children’s adventure book, Thadeus’ Welt, available on Amazon in German. In the audio space, he showcases his storytelling finesse through Storyville, a German-language podcast that delves into narrative craft and the art of fiction.

With his ability to move seamlessly between mediums, genres, and languages, Konstantin Georgiou stands as a trailblazer in modern independent cinema. His work not only entertains but bridges cultural divides — a true testament to the unifying power of storytelling.
