Sandra Divine Grace Showe

Sandra Divine Grace Showe is a multifaceted artist renowned for her work as a director, producer, writer, and creator of the popular children’s cartoon series Time For School. Her journey in the performing arts began with a passion for dancing, skating, and singing. Her love for the arts led her to a career in directing and producing musical theater for children, where she organizes six stage shows annually.

Sandra’s distinctive childlike voice became her trademark as she transitioned from a small town in Wisconsin to California. Her experiences directing dance and theater for children inspired her to start writing children’s books. She self-published notable works such as Don’t Be A Bully and Show and Tell, as well as holiday-themed books Friendsgiving and Happy Holidays. A chance encounter with her old friend, Lawrence Darnell, a comedian and working actor, sparked the idea of transforming her books into children’s cartoons. Darnell’s enthusiasm motivated Sandra to immediately begin creating Time For School. Lawrence now lends his voice to the cartoon series as the robot and principal Bell.

Sandra’s work with talented children made casting the show effortless, as she could draw inspiration from her students.

“Children inspire me with their unconditional love and imagination. They teach us patience, kindness, and effortless creativity.”

The series features characters like Jack, portrayed by Jack Wickersham, and Cupcake Kate, played by Camilla Maib. Another character, Eli, is played by Austin Kim, a young African American inventor who designs robots in the show. Sandra herself takes on the role of Miss Tulip, the teacher. Time For School has gained recognition for its Disney and Nickelodeon-ready quality and was invited to the Le Femme International Film Festival. Sandra, her cast, and crew enjoyed the experience, including an interview with Korean reporter and YouTube star Sara Hong.

Sandra Divine Grace Showe looks forward to the continued success of Time For School as they create new episodes and pursue international acclaim.
