Her creative journey began in Mainz, Germany, where she unearthed her fervor for the cinematic arts amidst her pursuit of a BA in Communication Design. It was during this formative period that Alessia’s passion for storytelling burgeoned.
Her academic pursuit led her to the prestigious NYU Tisch School’s Graduate Film program, where she honed her craft in writing and directing, earning her MFA.
Prior to her academic endeavors in New York, Alessia cultivated her visual prowess in Berlin, refining her skills as a cinematographer, editor, and designer. Her talents garnered her opportunities to work with esteemed clients such as Google, ARD EinsPlus, and the Berlin State Ballet, enriching her understanding of the multifaceted landscape of production.
Alessia’s cinematic oeuvre spans across award-winning narrative films showcased at renowned film festivals globally, including the esteemed Berlin International Film Festival and the revered Austin Film Festival. Her storytelling prowess intertwines with her explorations of intra-family and inter-generational dynamics, imbuing her work with depth and resonance.
In 2022, Alessia was honored as a fellow of the NYU Production Lab, a testament to her burgeoning influence within the industry.
